BEIJING – Chief of Army Staff, General Qamar Javed Bajwa reached China on an official visit on Monday.
According to the Director-General of Inter-Services Public Relations, Major General Asif Ghafoor, the military chief will meet Chinese counterpart.
The military’s spokeperson said Gen Bajwa will also meet PLA Army Commander, Vice Chairman of the Central Military Commission and Commander Southern Theater Command.
The official elaborated that Pakistan ‘s top commander will also join premier Imran Khan for meeting with Chinese Prime Minister Li Keqiang and President Xi Jinping.
Prime Minister Imran Khan is visiting China on a three-day visit to discuss matters of mutual interest especially the economic ties between the two countries.
