MAKKAH (Web Desk) – Saudi Arabian Minister for Health Khalid al-Falih on Saturday said that death toll of Thursday’s stampede tragedy in Mina has risen to 769.
In a statement issued to media the minister said there was an increase of 52 on the previous figures and those are the ones who died in various hospitals of Makkah.
He further told reporters that another 934 people were wounded in the deadly incident.
Earlier Saudi officials had confirmed that as many as 717 people died and another 863 were severely wounded in Mina stampede.
