PM Nawaz calls Turkish President, expresses grief over Ankara blasts

ISLAMABAD (Web Desk) – Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has called Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and expressed sorrow over the suicide blasts in Ankara, Turkey and offered his deepest condolences on the tragedy.

The PM prayed for those who lost their lives and sympathized with the people of Turkey and its government over the loss of precious lives.

Turkey was rocked by twin suicide blasts on Saturday at a peace rally of leftist and pro-Kurdish activists in Ankara killing 95 people, the deadliest such attack in the country s recent history.

President Erdogan denounced the attack as a “heinous crime” and stated that it had targeted their country’s peace and unity.
