PESHAWAR – At least seven teachers were killed after unknown gunmen targeted a school in northwestern Pakistan on Thursday.
Reports said the incident occurred at the staff room of the school in Upper Kurram area of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province.
All the victims were performing examination duties when the attack was launched. Security forces have cordoned off the area while emergency has been declared at hospitals.
