LAHORE (Staff Report) – Imran Khan’s sisters are looking for a new bride for the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf chief, a Pakistani news agency claimed on Monday.
According to Online, a number of women interested in marrying two times divorced Imran Khan have been interviewed by Khan’s sisters.
Mr Khan has already been holding pictures and profiles of seventeen candidates, shortlisted by the sisters, while three more hopefuls are expected to join the list, the agency said.
A breakthrough is likely by March, the agency further claimed and added Khan’s family will convince him for third marriage once interviews are done.
Famous astrologers are also speculating Khan’s third marriage this year.
The former cricketer married Jemima Goldsmith on 16 May 1995. The marriage ended in June 2004, because it was “difficult for Jemima to adapt to life in Pakistan”.
The couple have two sons, Sulaiman Isa and Kasim.
In January 2015 Khan married British-Pakistani journalist Reham Khan in a private Nikah ceremony at his residence in Bani Gala, Islamabad.
On 22 October 2015 they split their ways after announcing divorce.
