Imran Khan says ready for dialogue

RAWALPINDI – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder and former prime minister Imran Khan has said that he is always ready for dialogue. Talks will be held with those who make decisions, he added.

In a conversation with journalists at Adiala Jail, Imran Khan stated that May 9 is his insurance policy.

“If May 9 ends, both his government and politics will come to an end. If investigations are necessary, a judicial commission should be formed for May 9. Whenever the topic of negotiations comes up, they raise the issue of May 9. He is always ready for dialogue and will speak to those who make decisions,” he maintained.

The PTI founder said that becoming the Chancellor of Oxford University would be an honor for Pakistan. Even if he does not become Chancellor, it’s no big deal. In the history of cricket in Pakistan, no one has reached the level he has. He is Pakistan’s biggest philanthropist. They built two hospitals and two universities, and another university is under construction.

Imran Khan further stated that two new entries are about to be made in the Guinness Book of World Records. One entry will be for the U-turn where the slogan “Respect the Vote” was turned into “Respect the Boot.” Nawaz Sharif kept saying “Respect the Vote” for two and a half years while criticizing the army and martial laws. No one has criticized the army as much as Khawaja Asif did. Ahsan Iqbal was the first to mention the Hamoodur Rahman Commission report. Ahsan Iqbal also said that the army is a state within a state and that Pakistan is on the verge of becoming Myanmar.

He said that the second entry in the Guinness Book will be for Nawaz Sharif, who played with all four umpires on his side and still lost. The other party was not even allowed to play the match. When they find out that we are in talks, they suddenly remember May 9 and demand an apology for it. 74,000 votes were cast to make Nawaz Sharif win.

“Our September 8 rally has three objectives. One is to return the stolen mandate to PTI. The second is to liberate the country from the land grabbers and grant it real freedom. The third is to ensure an independent judiciary in the country,” he added.
