The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) rally in Lahore came to an official close as the allotted time for the event expired, prompting the sound system to be turned off.
According to Lahore’s Deputy Commissioner, Syed Musa Raza, the rally organizers were instructed to adhere to the event’s permitted timings, which mandated the rally’s conclusion by 6 PM.
“The rally must be concluded immediately as per the designated time,” stated the Deputy Commissioner, adding that any violations of the No Objection Certificate (NOC) will be dealt with according to the law.
With the sound system turned off and the lights cut, the venue was plunged into darkness. Despite the official end of the rally, PTI organizers are engaged in discussions with the police and district administration regarding the conclusion of the event.
