Maulana Fazlur Rehman Elected Jui F Chief Unopposed

ISLAMABAD – Maulana Fazlur Rehman has been elected unopposed as the chief of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI) for the next 5 years in the party elections.

JUI leader Maulana Abdul Ghafoor Haideri has also been elected unopposed as the Secretary General for 5 years.

Maulana Fazlur Rehman and Abdul Ghafoor Haideri were elected unopposed due to having no opposing candidates.

It should be noted that a few days ago, Maulana Ataur Rehman, brother of Maulana Fazlur Rehman, was elected as the provincial Ameer of JUI Khyber Pakhtunkhwa for 5 years in the party elections.

Earlier, the Election Commission had directed JUI to conduct party elections and submit the details.
