KARACHI – The per tola price of 24-karat gold rose by Rs1,800, reaching Rs276,200 on Friday, compared to Rs274,400 on the previous trading day.
The price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold also increased by Rs1,543 to Rs236,797 from Rs235,254, while the price of 10 grams of 22-karat gold rose to Rs217,064 from Rs215,650, as reported by the All Sindh Sarafa Jewellers Association.
The prices of per tola and 10 grams of silver remained unchanged at Rs3,050 and Rs2,614.88, respectively.
In the international market, the price of gold increased by $18, from $2,642 to $2,660, according to the Association.
