Security forces killed two terrorists in the Mir Ali area of North Waziristan district, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, during an intelligence-based operation.
In a statement released by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), it was reported that on October 9, security forces conducted an intelligence-based operation in the Mir Ali area of North Waziristan after receiving information about the presence of terrorists.
During this operation, there was intense gunfire exchanged between security forces and the terrorists.
According to ISPR, as a result of the gunfire, two terrorists were eliminated, and weapons, ammunition, and explosive materials were also recovered from the deceased terrorists.
It was stated that these terrorists were involved in terrorist attacks on security forces and the targeted killings of innocent civilians in the area.
ISPR reported that clearance operations are ongoing to eliminate any remaining terrorists in the area, and the armed forces are determined to eradicate the scourge of terrorism from the country completely.
