The government has suspended the Jaffer Express service between Peshawar and Quetta for an indefinite period.
According to railway officials, train operations have not resumed in the Godar area even after a week. The suspension follows a terrorist attack on the Quetta-to-Peshawar Jaffer Express last week, during which passengers were taken hostage.
Railway sources have confirmed that the service will remain suspended until further orders from higher authorities.
