QUETTA – An earthquake of 5.0 magnitude hit the Quetta and surrounding areas on Sunday.
People recited Quranic verses and rushed out of homes after the tremors.
According to the Seismological Center, an earthquake measuring 5.0 struck Quetta and nearby areas at 6:29 PM, with a depth of 25 km and its epicenter 65 km west of Quetta.
PDMA officials reported no loss of life or property so far and said they are in contact with the district administration.
