Internationally, gold prices climbed by $113 per ounce to $4,268, including a $20 premium. The upward trend has been supported by stronger demand for safe-haven assets and continued strength in global bullion prices, factors that typically influence Pakistan’s local gold market.
Silver prices also moved higher, with the per-tola rate increasing by Rs35 to Rs6,659, indicating broader gains across the precious metals market.
