ANKARA (Web Desk) – Turkish Prime Minister Binali Yildirim has appreciated Pakistan’s support to democracy in Turkey during the critical hour of the recent abortive military coup.
While talking to Punjab Chief Minister Shehbaz Sharif in Ankara on Saturday, Binali Yildirim said both Pakistan and Turkey have historical friendship and they are working jointly to eliminate the menace of terrorism.
Shehbaz congratulated the Turkish Prime Minister and the people of Turkey for foiling the military coup in the country. He said terrorism is a global issue and Pakistan and Turkey will work together to eliminate terrorism from both of countries.
During the meeting, bilateral issues and cooperation between the two counties also came under discussion.
