Three army men killed in Peshawar targeted attack

PESHAWAR – As many as three Pakistan army personnel were Sunday gunned down in a targeted attack in the outskirts of Peshawar.

According to officials, the incident took place in Khazana area, where armed motorcyclists opened fire at the white Suzuki Bolan used by the military officials. The deceased men were believed to be working at an army mess.

Superintendent Police (SP) Shaukat Khan said that several bullets of 9mm and 30bore pistol have been recovered from the attack site. Further investigation into the incident is underway.

The killed were identified as Iqbal, Abdul Rehman and Farid. Their bodies were shifted to the hospital.
