Punjab cabinet expands by addition of 11 members

LAHORE – Chief Minister Punjab  Shehbaz Sharif yesterday included 11 new ministers in his cabinet, besides appointing four new advisers and two special assistants.

Governor Punjab, Malik Muhammad Rafiq Rajwana would administer oath from them at the Governor s House today (Monday).

Those who will take oath as ministers included, Jahangir Khanzada, Naghma Mushtaq, Amanatullah Khan Shadikhel, Sheikh Ala-ud-Din, Manshaullah Butt, Mehar Ijaz, Zaeem Qadri, Naeem Akhtar Bhaba, Syed Raza Ali Gilani, Ahmed Yar Hinjar and Khwaja Salman Rafiq.

Three advisors including Khwaja Imran Nazir, Rana Maqbool Ahmad and Azamul Haq and two special assistants Rana Arshad and Malik Muhammad Ahmad Khan will also take oath of their office.

The addition came after a period of three and a half years since PML-N bagged landslide victory in 2013 general elections.
