ISLAMABAD – Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa called on prime minister Nawaz Sharif at the PM house here on Tuesday.
The civil-military leadership discussed the overall border, national and security situation in the country.
General Bajwa also apprised the Prime Minister about the progress bagged in ongoing Operation Zarb-e-Azb.
Issues related to India and Afghanistan also came under discussion during the high-profile meeting whereas the premier and military exchanged views in the aftermath of Donald Trump’s inauguration and his recent decisions.
