ISLAMABAD – One horse of a high breed has been exported on a PIA’s special plane C-130 as a gift to Emir of Qatar on the behalf of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif amid favourable letters by Qatari prince in Panama case.
Qatari royal families, which earlier have been enjoying exemptions of hunting near-extinct houbara bastard in Pakistan, seem to be enjoying special favours from the incumbent government.
The local media reported that a 13-member delegation has also been departed along with the horse to Qatar.
It is important to mention here that the Government of Pakistan had issued special permission letters to Qatari princes for hunting houbara bustards that are on the verge of extinction.
Responding to the horse diplomacy, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf leader Fawad Chaudhry said that the Panama case against Sharif family was linked with Qatar, adding that the Supreme Court should take notice of it.
