KOHAT – Hina Shahnawaz, 27, the only bread-earner of her family, has been killed in Kohat for refusing a marriage proposal.
The social media in Pakistan was enraged over the brutal murder of the young woman and called for speedy justice in the case.
As per the reports, a paternal cousin reportedly sent a marriage proposal for her; however, she refused. On this, the cousin shot her to death.
27-year-old Hina Shahnawaz, was an M.Phil degree holder and working for and NGO. It is also being reported that she was killed due to her job by the cousin.
The police arrested the brother and father of the accused, while the search for the culprit is underway.
