ISLAMABAD (Web Desk) – Maldives President Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom arrives in Islamabad today (Wednesday) on a two-day state visit to Pakistan.
During his stay, he will hold talks with President Mamnoon Hussain and Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif to discuss regional and international issues.
On this occasion, the two sides would sign a number of documents on cooperation in various sectors including Health, Education,Narcotics trafficking and Sports.
Pakistan attaches great importance to its relations with the Maldives. The two countries enjoy close and cordial relations based on mutual trust, common faith and understanding.
