Pakistan s counsel Khawar Qureshi rules out release or acquittal of Kulbhushan by ICJ

ISLAMABAD – Pakistan’s lawyer at International Court of Justice Khawar Qureshi remarked on Monday that UN’s judicial arm will neither release RAW agent Kulbhushan Jadhav, nor acquit him.

Talking to newsmen after a meeting with Attorney General Ashtar Ausaf Ali in capital, he remarked that the commander Jadhav case was a very clear case.

‘Commander Jadhav can never be released or acquitted. You are making something out of nothing’ he affirmed.

Qureshi also advised the media officials to “behave responsibly” and “give Pakistani officials the respect they deserve.”

The counsel expressed that the foreign office will be giving a much more detailed press statement soon.

After the ICJ’s decree, it was also murmured that Pakistan’s attorney general Ashtar Ausaf would be appearing before the top court however, no official statement is available right now.
