India is playing havoc with regional peace, stability: FO

ISLAMABAD – Expressing concerns over the Indian violations of Line of Control and working Boundary, the Foreign Office said India is playing havoc with the peace and stability of the region.

During weekly news briefing, Foreign Office spokesperson Nafees Zakaria said that India was seeking a conflict with Pakistan.

He categorically stated that Pakistan has no desire to escalate tension, adding that the armed forces would respond effectively to any unprovoked violation from Indian side.

He said Pakistan has always exercised restraint but India’s belligerence is a threat to regional peace and security. He said India is deliberately escalating tension in order to divert international community’s attention from gross human rights violation in Occupied Kashmir.

He said Pakistan strongly condemns the atrocities perpetrated by Indian Forces in Kashmir.

He said Indian barbarism cannot suppress the Kashmiri people’s just struggle for right to self-determination.

Foreign Office Spokesperson Nafees Zakaria said Pakistan has serious concerns over the tension between Qatar and Saudi Arabia.
