LONDON – The Asian arch-rivals Pakistan and India are set to clash in the Champions Trophy 2017 final at the Oval, London on Sunday.
The London’s match is considered a big fixture like World Cup final encounter. But what can fans expect of the weather on Sunday?
According to UK the Met office, the final will see “fine and settled conditions persisting”.
Meteorologists add that temperatures will be increasing throughout the day, with plenty of sunshine.
Temperatures could reach as high as 29C by 4pm, they added. However, The officials add: “Temperatures increasing, becoming hot, and remaining very warm and muggy overnight.”
It will remain mostly sunny through the day with little cloud, and will become hot by the afternoon with light winds.
India went down to Sri Lanka in the group stage, but beat Pakistan and South Africa to reach the final four, while the Pakistanis recovered from losing to India to beat Sri Lanka after a washout versus the South Africans.
