LAHORE – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan said that his party had chosen Awami Muslim League (AML) leader Sheikh Rashid to be the opposition’s joint candidate for the PM’s slot.
On Saturday, while addressing party meeting in Bani Gala, the PTI chief said this time his party would be prepared. “We have learnt a lot from the rigging in the 2013 elections.”
“PTI would not allow the country to fall into the grip of corruption again. He said that the Supreme Court’s verdict disqualifying Nawaz Sharif was a victory achieved through hard work and patience”, Khan added.
Khan said:“the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) will commit the another mistake by appointing Shehbaz Sharif as the prime minister’s slot,” he explained.
We will file a reference against Shehbaz Sharif due to the Hudaibiya Paper Mills case.
“Doesn’t the PML-N have any better candidate than Shehbaz Sharif?”, the PTI chief maintained.
We are also contacting other parties for Sheikh Rasheed’s victory, he added.
