War against terrorism is not over yet: Ch Nisar

KALLAR SYEDAN (Web Desk) – With an aim to purge country of terrorists, Federal Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar has urged the nation to keep unity.

“The terrorists want to divide us. But a nation could counter terrorism with the strength of unity,” the interior minister said during a press conference in a neighbouring suburb of capital. He vowed the war on terror would continue until the country is declared free of insurgency.

The minister said that terrorists want the nation to form groups and clash with one another. Extremists want to cripple the nation, he added.

However, the acts of terror are no basis to demand Sindh Chief Minister (CM) Qaim Ali Shah s resignation, Ch Nisar maintained.

Nisar said the armed forces have paralysed the banned outfits, which are targeting civilians now. “The terrorists are now finding easy targets, which depicts their desperation,” he added.

Pakistan will meet every challenge, he affirmed.

He said that the PML-N government has been playing an unprecedented role in the development of the country.

Lauding the role of media, Nisar said that the media played an important role in making him realise and rectify his mistakes.
