FAISALABAD – At least seven people were killed and several injured after a passenger bus hit them near Sansara Road in Gojra, local media reported.
As per reports, the bus plying from Faisalabad to Multan went out of control due to tyre burst and ran over passersby standing along the road leaving seven dead and many injured.
After the incident, the police arrested the bus driver and conductor, while charged protesters blocked the road causing of massive traffic jam.
Rescue officials shifted the injured and dead bodies to nearby hospital for medical procedure.
On August 18, two people were killed and one injured after a passenger bus rammed into them in Kot Radha Kishan. Following the accident, the driver successfully escaped from the scene.
