KHAIRPUR – At least three people were killed and five others injured due to firing during an Eid Miladun Nabi rally in Kot Diji Fort in Khairpur, reported Dawn news.
Following the incident, police, and Rangers officials have reached the site and the area has been cordoned off for a search operation.
Rescue officials have shifted the injured to a nearby hospital for medical treatment.
The reasons behind the incident are yet to be ascertained.

On the occasion, rallies are held by the Muslims with the start of the month across the world. This year Eid Milad-un-Nabi is to be celebrated across the country on December 1 (tomorrow).
