NEW DELHI – Wife of Indian cricketer Mohammed Shami has accused her husband of domestic violence and extramarital affairs while sharing screenshots of questionable mobile phone messages sent by the pacer to different women.
Hasin Jahan, who married the 27-year-old cricketer in 2014, on her Facebook page said that she found her husband’s phone, hidden in the car and discovered objectionable messages.
According to Indian media, she further claimed that “Shami and his family members were torturing her for a period of more than two years with attempts of trying to kill her”.
She is planning to take legal action against Shami and his family for domestic abuse.
Sharing screenshots of some text messages, she claimed that Shami was allegedly having an affair with a Karachi-based girl
The cricketer’s wife shared names of other girls with whom her husband had been in contact.
Mohammed Shami later took to Twitter and rejected the allegations as baseless, adding that it was a conspiracy against him.
