RIYADH – Police in the Saudi Arabia have busted a seven-member gang of three Saudis, two Pakistanis, one Syrian and one Sudanese who committed 124 robberies and thefts in the Islamic Kingdom.
A police spokesman said the gang stole car and used them in carrying out their thefts which included commercial centers and shops as well as building materials from construction sites in Riyadh.
The police also seized captagon pills and 2.5 kg of hashish with the gang members, the Riyadh Daily reported on Tuesday.
While announcing the arrest, the Riyadh police confirmed the Ministry of interior keenness to maintain the safety of Saudis and expatriates and to deal firmly and decisively with anyone who compromises with the security and safety of the community.
