ISLAMABAD – The PTI-led government has decided to appoint Arshad Khan as Managing Director of Pakistan Television’s (PTV) board of governors. The decision was announced by Information Minister Fawad Chaudhry after a meeting of the federal cabinet on Thursday.
Arshad Khan who has vast experience of telecom sector will replace Atta-ul-Haq Qasmi.
He has previously served as managing director of the Pakistan Television in 2004. He has also served as the chief executive officer of Ufone.
Arshad Khan got his Masters degree in telecom engineering from the United States and earned a Business Diploma from the UK.
He has vast experience of working in various areas of telecommunications, including fixed line, international, long distance, paging and cellular communication to his credit.
