LAHORE – A moderate earthquake tremors were felt in parts of Lahore on Sunday.
A medium-intensity earthquake also hit Kasur, Sheikhura, Sahiwal, Kasur, and other cities of Upper Punjab. The quake occurred at 10:47am. No casualties or damages have been reported.
The earthquake spread panic among the people and they rushed out of their homes, shops and other buildings reciting verses from the Holy Quran.

According to the Metrological department, the epicenter of the earthquake was about 20 kilometers away, near the Pak-India border. The intensity of the quake was measured 4.1 on the Richter scale.
