LAHORE – A woman gave birth to sextuplets – five baby girls and one boy – in a hospital in Lahore, local media reported.
A baby girl died during the delivery, while the remaining newborns were shifted to Nurse Ward of the Children Hospital as they are underweight.
Doctors say that they cannot confirm if the remaining babies will survive.
Earlier this year, a Sialkot-based couple was blessed with four babies, a decade after they got married.
Farah Bibi, who had married Khalid Butt of Ringpura 10 years ago, had given birth to a boy two years ago, but unfortunately he could not survive.
However, Farah gave birth to quadruplets – 3 boys and one girl – in April 2018 at a private hospital.
