Teacher arrested for sexually abusing teenage student in Toba Tek Singh

JHANG – Police have arrested a teacher for sexually harassing a student and making her video in Toba Tek Singh.

According to the police, Anwar-ul-Qamar, a school teacher, sexually harassed a 13-year-old girl and shot a video two months ago.

Following the incident, Qamar lost his mobile phone and the person who got hold of the device uploaded the video on social media.

Minister of Human Rights Shireen Mazari took to Twitter, after the video went viral on social media, stating that the accused has been arrested by Jhang police.

The incident happened in Toba Tek Singh and that Qamar has confessed to his crime before the Jhang police, Mazari added.

Qamar was handed over to the police in Punjab's central district where an FIR in the case was registered at Pir Mahal police station and further investigations are underway.
