MQM chief Altaf Hussain sentenced twice life term by Gilgit court

GILGIT (Online) – An anti-terrorism court in Gilgit has given twice life imprisonment to Muttahida Qaumi Movement chief Altaf Hussain besides imposing a fine Rs2.4 million on him.

ATC judge Raja Sahabaz Khan announced the verdict on Monday after the prosecutor told the court that the case against Altaf was registered for his hate speech against the army, national institutions and the integrity of the country.
