PML-N lawmaker looted at gunpoint in Kamalia

KAMALIA (Online) - Armed persons looted Member National Assembly (MNA) Asadur Rehman at gunpoint in the Chah Tibbi area of Kamalia on Sunday.

The MNA, who has been elected on a Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz ticket from NA-94 Toba TekSingh- III, was waylaid by robbers on a main road in Chah Tibbi Wala and deprived him of Rs25,000 and a cell phone after holding him hostage for one hour.

DSP Kamalia said that the police have issued alerts to barricade all entry and exit points and search was under way to nab the fleeing robbers.

Pakistani currency remains unchanged against US Dollar and other currencies on April 25, 2024 Monday in open market.

USD to PKR rate today

US dollar was being quoted at 277.5 for buying and 280.5 for selling.

Euro comes down to 294 for buying and 297 for selling while British Pound hovers at 342.5 for buying, and 346 for selling.

UAE Dirham AED was at 75 and Saudi Riyal's new rate was at 73.30.
