MULTAN (Staff Report) – A married woman attacked a man with acid in Multan for allegedly rejecting her marriage proposal.
36-year-old Shamim threw acid on her illicit lover Sadaqat, 24, for refusing her marriage proposal.
The victim has been shifted to Nishtar Hospital Multan for treatment.
The acid attack victim received 50 per cent burns and was shifted to Nishter Hopsital where police recorded his statement.
The victim’s father claims that the woman was already married with four children but still wanted to marry his son.
Police have registered a case against the accused and arrested her.
