Pakistani journalist makes shocking claims about visit of PM Imran’s cabinet members to Tel Aviv

ISLAMABAD – Senior journalist Dr Shahid Masood in his startling claims said that some members of the Prime Minister Imran Khan’s team visited Tel Aviv in past few months.

In a current affairs program on a private news channel, Masood claimed that the prime minister Imran Khan was incognizant of the development.

He said that the prime minister should investigate the matter through agencies.

The shocking claims surfaced amid reports that some international powers are forcing Pakistan to recognise Israel.

However, the prime minister and other members of the ruling PTI have been denying such reports as baseless.

On November 26, Foreign Office Spokesperson Zahid Hafeez Chaudhri clarified that recognition of Israel is not under consideration.

Chaudhri while addressing weekly news briefing on Thursday reiterated that Pakistan’s principled position on Israel issue was still unchanged.

He highlighted that PM Imran has made it clear that Pakistan could not recognize Israel unless a just settlement of the Palestine issue, satisfactory to the Palestinian people, is found.
