RAWALPINDI (Online) – The security has been put on high alert in Rawalpindi to avoid any untoward incident in the prevailing security situation.
The police and Elite mobile teams are patrolling the city. On the directions of City Police Officer, the security of the important government building has been beefed up.

A spokesman for Rawalpindi Police said the number of police personnel has been enhanced and vigilant eye is being kept on the vehicles entering the city.
He said the security of important markets has also increased.
