Pakistan Win Blind T20 World Cup 2024

MULTAN – Pakistan on Tuesday defeated Bangladesh by 10 wickets to win the Blind T20 World Cup 2024 at Multan cricket stadium.

The Team Green achieved the 140 runs target in 12th over, thanks to opening pair Nisar Ali and Mohammad Safdar, who showed fireworks with bat.

Nisar scored 72 while Safdar made 47 as both remained unbeaten in the match.

Earlier, Bangladesh set a target of made 139 runs for seven wickets with Arif Hussain making 54 runs.

On December 1, Pakistan’s blind cricket team reached the final after beating Nepal. In the first semi-final played at Multan Cricket Stadium, Nepal batted first and scored 94 runs for the loss of 7 wickets in their allotted 20 overs.

Durga Datta Paudel was the top scorer for Nepal with 40 runs.

For Pakistan, Motiullah took 3 wickets, while Babar Munir claimed 1 wicket.

Pakistan Blind Cricket Team comfortably chased the target in the 6th over without losing any wickets. Kamran Akhtar scored 63, and Babar Ali made 32 runs.
