Altaf’s ‘negative politics’ harmful for MQM: Zardari

KARACHI (Web Desk) – PPP Co-Chairman Asif Ali Zardari on Saturday said MQM chief Altaf Hussain’s ‘negative politics’ is harmful for the MQM,
He added that blaming others everyday doesn’t suit MQM’s chief.

In a statement issued here, he sated that PPP has always stood by its promises made with MQM, adding that whether it’s the federation or provincial government, PPP tried to align with them.

Zardari alleged that MQM deceived PPP and broke its promises, adding that PPP has now laid down two conditions of talking with them; one is that Sindh’s division is not on the table and that MQM will help make Karachi a peaceful city.

He said their stance is quite clear even today that PPP won’t let Sindh be divided at any cost. The former president said MQM will affect itself by the ‘negative politics’.

PPP co-chairman urged MQM to join the mainstream and work for development and prosperity of Pakistan and Sindh.

He suggested Altaf Hussain to avoid making unnecessary statements and addresses every day.
