ISLAMABAD – Islamabad High Court has increased Transport Monetization Allowance for judicial officers and High Court officials serving in Grades 17 to 22, with the highest monthly allowance now reaching Rs. 250,000.
The increase was approved on the directions of Chief Justice Sardar Muhammad Sarfraz Dogar, after which the Registrar of the Islamabad High Court issued a formal notification announcing the revised allowance rates.
According to the notification, the new Transport Monetization Allowance will come into effect from July 1, 2026, and will apply to officers from Grade 17 through Grade 22.

The notification further states that the financial impact of the revised allowances will be met from the 2026–27 budget already allocated for the Islamabad High Court and the District Judiciary Islamabad.
The substantial increase is expected to provide significant financial relief to eligible officers and marks one of the most notable revisions to transport monetization allowances for the judiciary in recent years.
