Govt to decide which cases will be tried in military courts:Nawaz

SLAMABAD (APP) – Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif on Tuesday has said that the government would decide that which cases would be tried in the military courts. He said that the 21st Amendment bill is by the entire Parliament and not by a single person.
He expressed these views while addressing the participants of the Senate session in Islamabad.
He said that the nation has resolved to root-out terrorism from their country. Terrorism claimed lives of thousands of innocent children. The PM said that the economy of the country is destroyed and the government is making efforts to put it back on track. PM Nawaz said that they would not sit with peace until the killing of the very last terrorist in the country.
He admired the leaders of all political parties and parliamentary leaders for standing by the government to have these important Amendments approved unanimously and giving their valuable suggestions regarding the matter. He congratulated all the members of the National Assembly and the Senators for unanimously approving the bills which are of extreme importance to the country. He also said that the tenure of these Amendments is at least two years and the government would decide about which cases should be tried in the military courts in these two years. PM Nawaz further said that the government is making all out efforts to get the parties which have issues with the bills on the same page with the government.
