ISLAMABAD (Web Desk) – A two-day meeting of Executive Committee of Parliamentary Union of Islamic Countries (PUIC) will start in Islamabad on Monday.
National Assembly is hosting the meeting.
Acting Speaker National Assembly Murtaza Javed Abbasi will inaugurate the meeting.
Besides Pakistan, members from Algeria, Lebanon, Kingdom of Morocco, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Azerbaijan, Bangladesh, Malaysia, Chad, Guinea, Ivory Coast, Uganda, Turkey, Iraq and Iran will attend the meeting.
It will discuss and finalize the agenda for the 11th conference of Parliamentary Union of Islamic Countries to be held in Baghdad next year.
The meeting will also deliberate upon the draft Charter on Combating Terrorism and Extremism.
