ISLAMABAD (Web Desk) – Law enforcement agencies foiled a terrorist bid in the federal capital on Sunday and defused a suicide jacket found in Sarai Kharbuza area.
It is reported that police at the Tarnol station acted when they received information about the presence of a suicide jacket near a nullah in Sarai Kharbuza area.
A heavy police contingent along with members of the bomb disposal squad immediately rushed to the area and defused the explosive-laden jacket.
Security has already been put on high alert in the federal capital on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Defence Day of Pakistan.
