Aspiring nurses across Punjab, both male and female, have a golden opportunity as admissions for the BSN Generic Nursing program 2025 are set to open this month. If you have a domicile from any district in Punjab and have completed F.Sc Pre-Medical with your second-year results available, you’re eligible to apply.
Starting in September, nursing colleges at District Headquarters (DHQ) hospitals and other government hospitals across the province will begin accepting applications. Male candidates can apply exclusively to the Shahdara Nursing College in Lahore, while female applicants have access to 41 nursing colleges spread throughout Punjab.
Selected students will not only benefit from a fully funded, four-year nursing education but will also receive a monthly stipend of up to PKR 32,000, making it an attractive opportunity for those looking to pursue a career in nursing.
The University of Health Sciences (UHS) has finalized the admission schedule for the upcoming session. Admissions are expected to begin by late September or early October 2024. Entry tests and interviews are scheduled for the second week of November, and the first merit list is expected to be released in the third week of November. The final merit list will be published on December 31, 2024, with classes commencing on January 13, 2025.
The spring semester is slated to begin on July 1, 2025.
Furthermore, the 2024 exam schedule has also been approved. The first professional annual exams are scheduled for the first week of March 2025, followed by the second professional exams in the first week of April, third professional exams in mid-May, and fourth professional exams in mid-June. Evening session students can expect their first professional exams in the second week of October 2024.
