Indian External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj lands in Pakistan

ISLAMABAD (Web Desk) – India’s External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj landed in Pakistan on Tuesday on two-day visit to participate in the ministerial session of the Heart of Asia conference on Afghanistan.

She is accompanied by Foreign Secretary S. Jaishankar, MEA Spokesperson Vikas Swarup, and Gopal Baglay, Joint Secretary in charge of Pakistan in the MEA.

Swaraj will hold meeting with her counterpart Sartaj Aziz as well as with Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif.

The Heart of Asia conference is being attended by 14 countries, 17 donor countries and nearly 12 organisations that have been crucial to stabilise Afghanistan.
