WASHINGTOn (Web Desk) – The United States on Monday strongly condemned the Quetta terror attack and offered assistance to the Pakistani government in its bid to bring to justice the perpetrators of the assault.
White House spokesman Josh Earnest said that the United States strongly condemns the attack on a government-run hospital that killed at least 70 people and wounded nearly a 100 more.
Earnest maintained that the attack appeared to target a gathering of lawyers mourning the death of a respected colleague, which makes it all the more heinous.
“Our hearts go out to the families and other loved ones of the more than 60 killed, and we wish a speedy recovery to the dozens more injured. the spokesperson said.

Earnest went on to express that the U.S. was committed to continuing its counter terrorism cooperation with Pakistan and remains resolute in joining with the people of Pakistan in tackling terrorism there and across the region.
At least 75 people have already lost their lives in the horrific attack on Monday. The Prime Minister and Army Chief Raheel Sharif visited the Quetta city and urged the need for a strong mechanism to eradicate the menace of terrorism and extremism.
