Imran Khan announces that he will show his money trail to SC

ISLMABAD – Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan has announced his decision to show his money trail of purchasing and selling of London flats, and money brought back to Pakistan before the Supreme Court.

Commenting over an ongoing case against his Bani Gala residence, the PTI chief took to Twitter on Wednesday to say, “I will also show before SC proof that I had my Bani Gala house plans approved by Union Council of Mora Noor before starting construction”.

Criticising the Qatari letter presented by the Sharif family in Panama case, Khan said that in both cases of Bani Gala and London flat there would not be a drama like Qatari letter.

He further said that Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz wanted to stop PTI from taking funds from overseas Pakistanis, adding that PTI was the only party that raises political funds.

Today, the SC heard a suo moto case against the encroachments in Bani Gala and sought details from CDA of 20 years regarding allotments. The court adjourned the case for three weeks.

The CDA officials submitted a detailed report in the Supreme Court on Tuesday, saying the PTI chief’s house was constructed in violation of by-laws.

According to CDA report, which also mentions 122 other properties, the structures in Zone-III and Zone-IV were constructed illegally.
