Ayyan Ali plans a movie on ‘prison life in Pakistan’ once freed

RAWALPINDI (Staff Report) – Supermodel Ayyan Ali, who is currently detained in Adiala Jail of Rawalpindi, plans to shoot a movie on prison life in Pakistan after she is released in the case of money laundering.

It was revealed by Customs officials in a report submitted to the court during hearing of the money laundering case against supermodel in which they blamed her for not cooperating during the investigation.

The model while talking her fellow inmates in Adiala expressed her wish to highlight the issues of prisoners in a movie. “This movie would be a bigger hit as compared to my previous movie,” she went on to say.

Earlier the supermodel pleaded to the court that she wishes to present more evidences in her defence as the judicial remand was extended till April 24.

The supermodel who is currently detained in Adiala jail for the charges of money laundering was brought to the court in heavy security where the Judge accepted her request to submit more proves and record her statement.

The court ordered the officials to record all of the claims and statements given by the model.

The police were ordered to present the complete challan of the case at next hearing as well.

The judge adjourned the hearing till April 24 when customs officials will also testify against Ayyan Ali.

Ayyan Ali was arrested by customs officials on March 14 while she was carrying $500,000 to Dubai without tax declaration. She is facing the charges of money laundering and tax evasion in the case.
