Saudi Arabia announces scholarships for Balochistan students

ISLAMABAD – Facilitating underprivileged students, Saudi Arabia has announced 50 scholarships for the students of Balochistan at renowned universities of Pakistan.

The announcement was made by Saudi ambassador Nawaf bin Said Al-Malki during a meeting with Senate Chairman Muhammad Sadiq Sanjrani on Friday. The scholarships will be provided to those who wish to pursue undergraduate and graduate studies.

The support from the kingdom has been extended on the request of the Senate chairman. Both dignitaries also discussed matters of mutual interest during the meeting.

All expenses, including tuition fee, incurred by the students during the course of their education will be paid by the Saudi government and the students will also be provided a monthly stipend, according to the Sanjrani’s spokesperson.

Muhammad Sadiq Sanjrani also thanked the Saudi government for this generous gesture to help students from Balochistan.
